When Elizabeth “Beth” Reese graduated from high school, she wanted to be a therapist. However, life has many different paths, and it is only in her 50s that Beth is now finally pursuing that dream. With multifaceted experiences on her way to “growing up,” she is currently working on a degree in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling from Lamar University. Beth integrates evidence-informed biology, psychology, creativity, play, compassion, mindfulness, movement, and cultural responsiveness in her work as a counselor. Beth is passionate about collaborating with clients of all ages to support them in living their most purposeful, wholehearted, and fulfilled life.
Beth has advanced yoga and mindfulness training and a Ph.D. in art museum education. She has experience teaching art, art education, art museum education, yoga, and mindfulness in public and private schools, universities, and also to adults in various community settings. As the founder of Yogiños: Yoga for Youth®, Beth is the co-creator of an adult training program and on-demand school curriculum.
Beth grew up in Maryland and moved to Texas as soon as she could. She is the proud momma of 3 kids, two dogs, and one cat. Beth looks forward to supporting and empowering you and your family on your personal journey to healing and joy.
