Jaenele is a bilingual Licensed Masters Social Worker and a proud first-generation graduate of the University of Houston. From an early age, she knew she wanted to dedicate her career to helping others through therapy. She has a deep passion for working with children and adolescents, particularly those who have experienced trauma, including survivors of child sexual abuse. She aims to empower children to regain their voice, rebuild their confidence, and heal in a safe, supportive environment.

Her professional experience spans working with children in the immigration system, survivors of sexual abuse, and providing social-emotional support in schools. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is eager to expand her expertise by pursuing training in sandtray, play therapy, and Internal Family Systems. She believes in a holistic approach to care, understanding how different systems impact a child's well-being, and tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs. She enjoys Pilates, reading, and watching crime shows in her free time. Her dedication to creating a trusting therapeutic relationship and her cultural understanding and bilingual skills allow her to connect meaningfully with children and their families on their journey to healing.
