Jodi has received specialized training in EMDR therapy, play therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy. Additionally, she has a profound connection with supporting clients in processing normal bereavement and complex grief.
Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Jodi is a divorced single mother of two children, aged 13 and 7. Music is a significant part of her life, providing joy and stability. She enjoys various music genres and surprises many with her passion for punk rock and heavy metal. Outside the city, Jodi finds her happy place in the mountains, having recently hiked trails in Sedona, Banff, Red Rocks, and Glacier National Park. When not parenting, rocking out, or hiking, she enjoys spin classes at a local Houston studio, doing reformer Pilates, and exploring local art galleries.
